These terms govern your use of services provided by Joe's Helping Hands LLC (\"we,\" \"us,\" \"our\"), a handyman and property services business serving Pearl, Mississippi and the Greater Jackson area. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

Our Services

Joe's Helping Hands provides junk removal, demolition and cleanup, moving help and estate cleanouts, pressure washing, and handyman services. All services are performed in the Greater Jackson, Mississippi area.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes are flat price. The price Joe quotes is the price you pay. We do not charge hourly rates. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. If the scope of work changes after a quote is approved, Joe will provide a revised quote for your approval before proceeding with additional work.

Booking and Scheduling

When you approve a quote, Joe will schedule the work at a mutually agreed time. Joe may complete work while you are not present at the property. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Work Approval

Joe will send photos and video of completed work for your review and approval before closing out the job. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the work, let Joe know before approving and he will address it on the spot.

30-Day Guarantee

All labor is covered by a 30-day guarantee from the date of job completion. If something is not right with the work Joe performed, contact us within 30 days and Joe will come back and fix it at no additional charge. This guarantee covers labor only and does not cover materials, normal wear and tear, damage caused by others, or issues unrelated to the original scope of work.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion and approval of work unless other arrangements are made in writing. We accept payments processed through Square. All payment card and bank information is handled by Square in compliance with PCI DSS standards. We do not store your payment information on our own systems.

Deposits

Jobs totaling $1,000 or more require a deposit before work is scheduled. The deposit amount is 25% of the quoted price or $1,000, whichever is greater. The deposit is applied toward the final balance upon job completion. Deposit refund terms are outlined in the Cancellations section of these terms. Jobs under $1,000 do not require a deposit unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations

You may cancel a scheduled service more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge and any deposit paid will be refunded in full. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, any deposit paid will be retained to cover scheduling and preparation costs. If work has already started, you are responsible for payment for work completed up to the point of cancellation and any deposit paid will be applied to that balance.

Property Access and Responsibility

If you authorize Joe to work while you are not home, you are responsible for providing accurate access instructions and ensuring the work area is accessible. Joe will take reasonable care with your property. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed hazards, or conditions not disclosed before work begins.

Photos and Videos

Joe may take before and after photos of work for job documentation and your approval. We do not use customer photos or videos for marketing, social media, or any public purpose without your written permission.

Text Messages and Communications

By booking a service, you consent to receive text messages related to your appointment including confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and invoices. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at (601) 709-9113. Opting out of texts does not cancel scheduled services. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

Limitation of Liability

Joe's Helping Hands is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services provided. Our total liability for any claim related to a job will not exceed the amount you paid for that job.

Disputes

If you have a concern about work performed, contact Joe directly at (601) 709-9113 or joe@joeshelpinghands.com. We will work to resolve any issue within 30 days. Any disputes not resolved directly will be governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted at this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
